Wondering what the benefits of a community-supported agriculture share are? This week, we'll be sharing thoughts from our three amazing vegetable suppliers. In our second post, farmer Aurélien from Les Jardins du Chat Noir shares his thoughts:
"Vegetable baskets are about much more than produce, they are about building a sense of community between farmers and city dwellers. We run our farms with the dual purpose of promoting food sovereignty and ecological restoration, and that takes funding. The city needs us for food, and we need its inhabitants to help us fund our projects. Everybody wins, and because we deliver the vegetables ourselves, we all get a chance to share our experience and stories."
You can sign up for a basket in no time on our website! New this year, we are accepting online payments to make registration quick and simple. Visit here to learn more about farms, prices, and dates.
